As part of the initiative to better align and strengthen branding across the Texas A&M University System, the agencies of Texas A&M AgriLife were renamed and rebranded to include “A&M” in the names. Texas A&M AgriLife Research was part of this shift and was rebranded. Earlier iterations of the Research logo/brand should not be used.
If you are printing in black and white, use the black-and-white version of the logo. A “white” or “reversed” version of the logo is also available for printing on dark backgrounds. Always use the right logo for print or web to maintain highest quality. Download a ZIP file of AgriLife Research logos
The official colors for Texas A&M AgriLife Research are Aggie Maroon and Cool Gray 11. AgriLife Research also has a secondary color (PMS 370) that is used for accent purposes or to differentiate among Texas A&M AgriLife agencies..

When do I use the “Research | Extension” logo?
The “R|E” logo is reserved for use where the research and extension efforts are shared and/or combined. Typically, this will be used by the regional research and extension centers, or in places where there is just no space to co-brand both agencies. It is not the primary mark when both agencies are listed. For spaces/places where both agencies are hosting, participating or represented, every effort should be made to use both the AgriLife Extension and AgriLife Research marks, as they are two separate agencies.
How do I get a logo/mark for my center, lab, office, department?
While balancing a center’s, lab’s, etc. need to establish an identity, there are a number of concerns and questions that must be answered before development of marks can occur. This can range from whether the entity is part of the university (and subject to their branding rules) or not to what benefits or impacts a separate brand might be incurred.

How do I co-brand with the university?
The university has specific guidelines for branding and using the university’s mark. For applications where the co-branding purpose ties AgriLife Research to the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences (AgriLife focused), then use the college lockup with “Texas A&M University”. For applications where the co-branding purpose ties AgriLife Research and the university together (external focused) use the Texas A&M University mark. In either case, both marks need to be equally sized and similarly/symmetrically placed (don’t make one smaller or larger than the other and do not put one on the front and one on the back.
For co-branding that deals with ordering stationery (business cards, letterhead, etc.) you will need to use the university’s ordering system.
